The Solar Wolves formed up and prepared to give their lives in defence of Txus but no two Companies, no matter how courageous and determined, could stand before the Warmaster and his Black Legion and the Solar Wolves were obliterated. With its engines dead, armour rent and void shields a distant memory the Voidclaw crashed into the world below creating a hell-storm of fire and it was into this hell-storm that Abaddon made planetfall. The mighty Battle Barge Voidclaw stood in the path of the Despoiler, but was quickly destroyed as massive macrobatterys smashed building sized projectiles into it while mighty lance batteries gouged great rents into the Battle Barge's armour and hundreds of torpedoes slammed into its flanks before the ancient and infamous Vengeful Spirit drew alongside and delivered the killing blow, raking the Voidclaw with terrible fire from its broadside batteries. Last Stand on Txus (107.M42) - The last stand on Txus was fought during the later years of the Indomitus Crusade and stands as a testament of the courage and determination of the Emperor's Astartes.Landing at each site simultaneously they broke the defenders within hours of their arrival, the secessionist were wiped out and the Wolves left as quickly as they had arrived leaving only the memory of their ruthlessness. The Solar Wolves would arrive within months of the valleys capture, eschewing an orbital bombardment they attacked immediately. These valleys controlled the approaches to the capital, with their capture, the rebels effectively cut off the capital from the rest of the planet and rendered any conventional attempt to relive the city doomed to failure, several attempts that left thousands dead a testement to that. Thanks to this great fortune the Solar Wolves now prosecute their wars with even greater vigour. The wargear to arm these formidable warriors was also received including 500 suits of Mk X Power Armour in their various patterns, hundreds of Cawl and Belisarius Pattern Weapons, four Redemptor Dreadnoughts Chassis, 2 Overlord Gunships and two Repulser Grav Tanks, all of which have been assigned to the 16 th Company.

Representatives from the Primarch were dispatched to every Astartes Chapter to gift these wondrous creations and soon Primaris Astartes were serving alongside their elder brethren with distinction, but unlike many other Chapters that received full grown and battle-hardened Primaris, the Solar Wolves instead received the technology and knowledge to create their own Primaris Space Marines. They take greats pains to remain apart from their fellows, rarely interacting with other Imperial forces except during battle but even then they will remain apart as much as possible.
